Mr. Maulenov was born on 21 April 1982 in Almaty.

Education:

1999-2003, Kazakh Academy of Humanities and Law, major in Law Sciences;

2003-2005, Master's degree at the Kazakh Academy of Humanities and Law (Center for European Law) in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, Great Britain, major in International Law, with awarded Academic degree, Master of Law;

2006-2008, post-graduate and research studies at the University named after D.A. Kunayev with award of the Academic degree of Candidate of Juridical Science, the thesis on Legal Regulation of the Oil Business in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2017-2019, Geneva Business School, Academic degree of Master of Business Administration.

Chairman of the Management Board of the consulting company Olympex Advisers, LLP, responsible for strategic management, corporate governance, project management, policy-making and regulatory activity.

Candidate of Juridical Science, Master of Business Administration (MBA). Completed internship at the University of Cambridge, UK.

Independent Director, Member of the Board of Directors of Kazteleradio, JSC, Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, JSC, Kazakhtourism National Company, JSC.

Member of the Supervisory Board of the Kazakhstan Association of Independent Directors, Member of the Kazakhstan Petroleum Lawyers Association (KPLA). Member of the KazBar Chamber of Legal Advisers.

Mr. Maulenov has extensive experience of work in the companies representing the quasi-public sector. He was employed at the Institute for Innovative Development, namely, the Center for Engineering and Technology Transfer, further at National Company KazMunayGas, JSC and other from the tier.
