Sanzhar Zharkeshov, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, inspected the preparation of gas facilities in the West Kazakhstan region for the autumn-winter period. According to specialists from WKO production branches, the facilities are 100% ready for the heating season.

As part of the preparatory work, 61 events were planned, including the repair of 56 gas control points (GRP), 2955 cabinet GRP, electrochemical protection equipment, and instrumental inspection of 240,500 meters of the gas pipeline.

“How the upcoming autumn-winter period will pass depends on our preparation for the heating season. Therefore, a lot of work on the maintenance and repair of gas facilities is now nearing completion in all regions. We keep this issue under special control,” said Sanjar Zharkeshov.

In addition, scheduled preventive maintenance (PPR) was carried out at the branch's 30 gas distribution stations (GDS). Shut-off valves were maintained at the facilities of the linear part of the main gas pipelines and 882 compressor stations. The emergency stop button of the station was tested, and the cranes of the workshop connection points were controlled at three compressor stations by the approved plan.
