In January-September of 2014, the total volume of natural gas transmitted through the main gas pipelines of JSC Intergas Central Asia (a member of KazTransGas group) amounted to 66.0 billion m3.
Efficient operation of the main gas transportation network enabled the Company to accomplish the targeted gas transmission volume for the 9 months period by 97%.
The share of domestic transportation in the total volume of Intergas Central Asia’s transmission was 14% (or 9.2 billion m3), international gas transit accounted for 73% (or 48.3billion m3), and export gas transportation reached 13% (or 8.5 billion m3).
Intergas Central Asia has been undertaking comprehensive actions for repairs and upgrading of the domestic main gas pipelines networks aimed to ensure reliable international transit of natural gas and more effective use of operated pipeline network assets.
Over the nine months of 2014, the capital expenditure of Intergas Central Asia financed from internally generated funds totaled to 25,054 million Tenge, including 24,455 million Tenge of investments in production. The targeted volume of capital expenditure of Intergas Central Asia for 2014 is set at 33,395 million Tenge.
During January-September of the current year, the Company paid taxes and other mandatory payments to the state budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the total amount of 6,864 million Tenge.
The basic principles of Intergas Central Asia’s operations will remain to be the use of advanced technologies in operation of the gas transmission system, aligned with maximum level of safety, efficiency, reliability and improved technological process, and high level of management practice in the Company’s activities.
Intergas Central Asia was established in July 1997 to directly manage under the terms of concession the main gas transmission infrastructure in Kazakhstan. Intergas Central Asia is a member of KazTransGas, JSC group of companies (a subsidiary of the NС KazMunayGas, JSC). Intergas Central Asia manages the major gas transportation network with the total length in excess of 14,000 km and annual throughput capacity up to 190 bcm.
