In St. Petersburg, Intergas Central Asia JSC and Gazprom PJSC have signed the Technical Agreement for Natural Gas Transfer and Acceptance.

On June 27th, Mr. Mukhatai Shanbatyrov, the First Deputy Director General of Intergas Central Asia JSC, and  Mr. Vitaly Markelov, the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom PJSC signed the document.

The representatives of the Russian gas company pointed out that KazTransGas JSC and its subsidiary Intergas Central Asia JSC are dynamically developing and modern companies, one of the recognized leaders of the oil and gas sector in Central Asia. This fact is proofed by international ratings and joint work experience as well. The basis of friendly relations is honest, transparent, mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas, and long-term cooperation in the field of transportation, processing and marketing of natural gas.

A similar document on the technical regulation of natural gas transfer and acceptance was signed in February 2007. Over 12 years, there have been significant changes in the regulatory and technical documentation of both countries, which has necessitated the execution of a new Technical Agreement. That document regulates the issues of determining the volume of natural gas at the borders of states, the types of equipment used at gas measuring stations and equipment metering stations, the procedure for registering and organizing mutual monitoring of the volume of gas transported. Besides, the document specifies the procedure for relations in the process of gas acceptance at the border of the states, planning repair work, and operating procedures for technological communication.
