The results of activities in the first half of 2019 were summed up in KazTransGas JSC. The Director General of the National operator Rustam Suleimanov held a reporting meeting with the labor collective in the online mode with the regions.

Positive dynamics was noted in almost all processes of the gas operator. In particular, the main gas transportation amounted to 50,078 million m3, including internal transportation - 9,433 million m3, gas transportation for export - 12,699 million m3, 11,626 million m3 of “blue fuel” was sold on the domestic market. According to the results of first half of the year, natural gas production amounted to 182 million m3, gas condensate 9.3 thousand tons.

Also, the Director General announced the key events of the reporting period. So, on January 31 of this year, the solemn launch of the compressor station "Korkyt-Ata" was carried out, built as part of the project to increase the capacity of the gas pipeline "Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent" from 10 billion m3 to 15 billion m3 per year.

In may, by the order of Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 169, the maximum prices of wholesale sales of commercial gas in the domestic market for the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 were approved.

 This spring, the Expert rating agency, in partnership with the Kursiv Republican Business Edition, awarded the National Operator of KazTransGas JSC a diploma for their contribution to the development of transparency and for the implementation of best practices. According to the conclusions of the rating agency, given the readiness of KazTransGas JSC to publish information not only mandatory for disclosure, but also related to the gas industry as a whole, it can be stated that the company strives for a high level of transparency and follows the best international practices.

KazTransGas JSC continues the development and modernization of the gas transmission system. Three compressor stations were put into operation at the Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent, therefore the gas pipeline capacity was brought up to 13 billion m3 / g. The construction of shift camps at the Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent was completed. The capacity of the booster compressor station at the TIP-02 jumper was increased to 3.5 billion m3 / year by building the third gas pumping unit.

The work continues on the implementation of projects of KazTransGas JSC in the innovation and technological sector. As part of geological exploration of the project “Methane Production from Coal Seams of the Karaganda Coal Basin” of KazTransGas JSC, 3 exploration and 5 prospecting and appraisal wells were drilled, with core sampling and research in laboratories in the USA, China, and Poland. Works on intensification and research development of wells have been carried out and construction of a pilot well has been completed. In addition, the “Feasibility study for assessing the prospects of industrial methane production from coal seams of the Cherubaynurinsky site” was carried out and horizontal drilling was recommended.

NC KazMunayGas JSC approved the implementation of additional exploration work for 2019-2021 with the construction of horizontal, multilateral wells in order to determine the optimal production methodology for CBM.

Rustam Suleymanov specially focused on social issues. He noted that according to the results of the first half of 2019, social support was provided to the company's employees in accordance with the approved business plan. In addition to financial assistance for health improvement, employees received material assistance in special cases, and social benefits were paid.

It was noted that in KazTransGas JSC is paid special attention to safety and labor protection issues, as part of the ongoing policy and instructions of NC KazMunayGas JSC, in the first half of 2019 were taken measures in the field of labor protection, health and the environment.

The Director General of KazTransGas JSC Rustam Suleimanov also announced the main objectives and plans for the second half of 2019, saying that KazTransGas JSC will continue to implement all the plans and strategic objectives.
