Auezkhan A. UROMBAYEV

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, INTERGAS CENTRAL ASIA, JSC

Mr. Urombayev was born in 1965 in Torgai region.

Education: Rudnyi Industrial College (1984), with the major in Open-cast mining of mineral deposits", qualified as Mining Technician. Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I.Lenin (1992), with the major in Open Pit Mining, qualified as Mining Engineer. Karaganda State Technical University (2017), thesis in Oil and Gas Business, degree of Bachelor in Engineering and Technology.

Work experience: Employment started in 1983 as an Assistant to an Excavator Operator in the Turgai Bauxite Mine Administration.

1985-1992, studies at the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I.Lenin.

After 1992, Mr. Urombayev resumed operations at the Turgai Bauxite Mine Administration, where his career evolved from Assistant to Excavator Operator to Chief Engineer.

1998 – 2001, work at the Heavy Industry Department of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2001 – 2002, Deputy General Director for Production, then, Director of Shalkiya Mine Administration of TAU-KEN Mining and Metallurgical Plant, LLP.

2003, Deputy Head of Department for Passenger Transport and Automobile Roads in the Kyzylorda Region.

2003 – 2004, Head of Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Kyzylorda region.

2005, Head of Department for Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning in the Kyzylorda region.

2005 – 2010, employment in structural subdivisions of the production arm of KazTransGas, JSC group of companies.

2008 – 2010, Head of the Department of Capital Construction and Technical Policy of KazTransGas, JSC.

2010 – 2012, Managing Director for Development of the Gas Transportation System of KazTransGas, JSC.

2012 – 2022, positions at the management units governing structural divisions of the production arm of the KazTransGas group of companies.

2022, Head of Department for Business Process Management, the NC QazaqGaz, JSC. Since June 2022, Technical Director of Intergas Central Asia, JSC.

Awards: The Yeren Yenbegi Ushin medal for High Achievements in Professional Carrier, the Letter of Gratitude from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Letters of Gratitude from the Akim of the Kyzylorda region; Letter of Gratitude from the NC KazMunayGas, JSC; Letter of Gratitude from KazTransGas, JSC, Letter of Gratitude from the President of PetroKazakhstan Company.
